Have you ever wanted to schedule a chat conference with your friends to remind you and your friends simultaneously so that you all get an alert notification when the time comes? With this alert message, you and your friends don’t have to forget about your meeting. With Facebook consistently updating its user interface and app design, I am here to update you with up-to-date, step-by-step instructions at the time of this writing.
As you can see in this image below, most of these Google Search-related items are most likely out of date with Facebook Messenger’s old design and layout. Here, I will provide you with new instructions as of Monday, May 3rd, 2021. At the time of writing, my app is currently in version 310.0.
- In your Messenger’s App, assure that you’re in your message. Tap on the + (plus) icon at the bottom of your screen.
- Tap Create
- Tap on the “toggle button” to the right of “Schedule for later.”
- Scroll through the vertical carousel and select your desired time.
- Then tap on “Create Room.” After creating a room, the electronic scheduler will automatically send the message invite.
